What is it with flaky people? - GoFuckYourself.com

I just don't get it.

I seriously don't. What the hell is going through the minds of people when they flake. I've been having those kinds of issues with all types of people lately. In the past month I've had talent, designers, and little assistants flake on me.

Each and every one of them have been offered MORE than good enough money for their time, they agree to do the work, and when the time comes ------- Dead silence on their behalf.

Not a word of whats going on.

Weeks later I'll see them on ICQ or MSN, and I'll ask them "What the hell happened? Why didn't you show up for work" or somethnig along those lines and I'll always get some BS excuse like : OH, something came up and I couldn't come.

Bottom line is, in every aspect of life, no matter if its business or personnal. No matter WHO you are talking to, if you give your word on something and later on realize that you cannot keep it, warn the other person! Its common goddamn curtosy.

Oh, and, ya, Leggs is right, it does feel good to blow off some steam.

Btw, to all the business people : designers, coders, models, etc. Stop being so freakin' flaky. Its people like you that make me have to be very wary of who I hire and make business deals harder to conclude.
