Baddog,
it was a pleasure meeting you as well! Grumpy, because we do anything for a happy face ;-) and we forgot to do our yearly donation for the red cross, so we have some budget left for other maketheworldabetterplace projects... |

You're a totally stand-up guy, from this post. You have given me a new outlook on AskJolene, and it looks like you are serious about making up for some of the problems people have had in the past. I'll mention, for clarity, that: #1, everything converted great before the fraud, and #2, a bunch of Moderators on Xbiz were given free campaigns to test productivity, and everyone convert ... for the first day. Then, two of us got ICQ's saying that AJ couldn't deliver the bigger campaigns some of us bought, and that fraud was about to happen. From there, the click-throughs (almost 20% in the beginning) went to 2%, and 1% in some cases. It's a pretty clear-cut thing, but I understand if Toine is going to spin it for you, since you weren't there at the time. I am sorry you have been fed some of this from Toine, as some of the facts are crooked. When my PC gets back from Falcon next week, I will send you privately the emails and (if I still have them) the ICQ logs of not only Toine refusing support, but also of the person (who I hope you will not repremand, he was just being a good person) who discovered and reported the click-fraud. What we got was sequential clicks, one IP after the other, almost as if from a "list." These clients didn't support JavaScript (as a normal surfer would), and never clicked second pages. We wouldn't have even THOUGHT to look, without being tipped off by an employee on AskJolene's side -- would have just thought it non-productive traffic, and moved on. I'll contact our old ISP and see if they can deliver an IP-based log for us to privately look at. To further clarify, this wasn't on the $70 campaign, and wasn't on the $300 campaign -- it was on the $4,700 campaign right after. I got refunded for a campaign, but certainly not for the "right" campaign. I'll be contacting you privately with the details as soon as I get my PC back, just so that you can have the "full" story -- because you were such a stand-up guy here, and admitted some of what went on (you weren't there, so I realize you can't know), it ends here. I consider it "resolved." I will honor my original commitment with Mike of $10,000 per month with you guys. It's unfortunate he isn't there anymore, and I can forward you some other inside information as to why that is. I would appreciate if Toine wasn't given access to any part of the account, and if you have another rep, I'd like to work with them directly. Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing you at a show in the near future. |

It's buried, as far as I am concerned -- Pierre is burying the hatchet, he wasn't there when it happened, so it's at fault, and he's being a stand-up guy. I'm putting it to bed. No need to keep bumping. Pierre will ICQ me when he's ready. |

Yeah, what he said!!! |
Anyone have Pierre's ICQ? I don't.
|
No one has his ICQ? I have no way of contacting him without it.
|
Bump for Pierre's ICQ number (or he can ICQ me directly)
