Best way to promote new PAY site

Hiya guys, hope everyone is well!!

I need some expert opinions!

1) I need to know thew best way to promote a new pay-site when it is launched?

2) Is it best to join an affiliate scheme straight away, with a site(s) offering silmilar content?

3) What is the best way to get traffic to my new site?

4)Also - what is the best way to be #1 in SE? Can free SE optimisation software do it - or will purchased help always be better to guarantee 1st page rankings?

Any help, as always, much appreciated!!

Tons of ways... You have an affiliate program right? First of all put a banner in your sig.

Always smart to check out what other sites are doing, but consentrate on your own site. Think smart. Make it easy for affiliates and members. "Keep it stupid and simple"!

You have FHG? Banners? Get new affilates... they will get traffic for you. Lots of people on this board selling traffic too. Do a search on it!

No... Free SE software wont get you far. SE is not something that will go on auto. You need to work everyday in months to get results. Contact jojo, he will tell you what to do. He posts here...

1. Write the name of your site on your ass and streak buck naked through the most crowded intersection in your town.

2. Call the folks at CJ repeatedly and ask to be allowed to list your site in their affilliate network. If they hang up on you call right back. They have the largest affilliate pool for you so don't give up.

3. The best way to get traffic to your site is to post pictures of dead american GI's on the homepage and move to Florida. You will get a lot of attention for sure.

4. Send me $50k in small unmarked bills and I will make sure you are #1 for some SE word. I will share $25k with Wired Guy just to make sure you rank highly for "Euthenasia."

I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

whatever you do, don't depend on affiliates to get your rich, there are far too many programs and far to few good affiliates to make that your only goal

work on a stream of traffic that is all your own, build sites and more sites, then more sites after that...all with the specific purpose of sending traffic to your paysite

whatever you do, don't depend on others to get yourself rich

Okey dokey! Right here's the thing....

Im COMPLETELY new to this industry - my sites hasnt been built yet .The only thing i have is my 'niche' (the content for which i am getting now) and ive bought a domain name - THATS ALL!!

Im not a member of an affiliate scheme nor am I a sponsor.

I cannot get a banner as, at the moment, it will have nothing to direct anyone to.

I dont have FHG's or banners.

You said to 'get new affiliates' to get the traffic for me - as in you mean for me to be a sponsor???

As you can tell - i really do mean it when i say im new....please don't blast me out the water in a blaze of fire........
