There is also XXXgasprices.com, where XXX is a major city. I.e. columbusgasprices.com, chicagogasprices.com, etc.

$2.93 ... still tough when you have a V8. I'm buying a moped.

Ouch!

$3.09 - $3.22 - $3.39

anne 04-26-2006 07:33 PM

2.75 is the lowest here; but it takes me about 30 min to get there from the house. Cheaper to just stay home and have shit delivered.

JD 04-27-2006 08:51 AM

what really pisses me off, is that the oil companies are expected to report RECORD earnings this quarter.....mother fuckers...

amandaspost 04-27-2006 09:55 AM

$2.75 here

Sammy4u 04-27-2006 09:55 AM

No reason to bitch about the price of gas when you aren't willing to drive a car that requires less gas per mile. If you want to have a gas guzzling car then you will just have to pay for it. That is pretty simple.

My civic gets 35mpg. I've got a 10 gallon tank. It costs me 30 fucking bucks to fill up. I think I earned the right to bitch :winkwink:

Morgan 04-27-2006 10:49 AM

that makes me feel no better. you must be riding a huffy to work huh?

Brooklywood 04-27-2006 10:59 AM

Driving to work today I saw $3.50 a gallon for regular! Wasn't the oil we got in Iraq supposed to pay for the war and drop gas prices?

beemk 04-27-2006 11:03 AM

i dont see it being anything worth anyones time to bitch about. unless you work at mcdonalds and only make $5 per hour and it proably takes a days work to fill your tank.

What about people with kids and active lives?

It's not about "gas guzzling" cars ... it's about HIGH GAS PRICES PERIOD

No it's not. It's about using big cars with big and unefficient engines AND high gas prices.
Buy a smaller car. You can get a fuel-efficient diesel caravan that'll fit your whole family if you drive a lot.

Because you consume too much of everything doesn't mean you HAVE to. If your neighbor gets a new hummer, it doesn't mean you have to get a big car too, just to show him that you're as good as he is. Buy a smartcar and laugh at his idiocy instead and piss on his lawn.

I hear you BUT the safety of my wife and kids is more important to me than gas prices or fuel efficiency ... I can't apologize for that.

Sad to say, but when my wife was 7 1/2 months pregnant with my son - I had just picked up my daughter from school and as I was crossing an intersection some lady ran a red light and having my Yukon possibly saved my unborn son's life.

Also, in October - my wife was alone - driving a few blocks away from my house and ANY OTHER DAY all would have been good ... this day a car comig from the facing direction was making a left turn and STALLED OUT OF NOWHERE in my wife's path as she was doing 50 MPH (the speed linit on this street). She jammed the breaks and slammed into the rear of of another big truck.

If she was driving a little fuel efficient car ... she likely would have had the rear of that truck THROUGH her windshield!!!

Maybe these cases are rare and coincidental or just unlucky BUT I look at this GAS GUZZLER as a life insurance policy for my family.

:2 cents:

BUT I'LL STILL COMPLAIN ABOUT GAS PRICES BECAUSE THEY SUCK AND I CAN!

:1orglaugh :winkwink: :1orglaugh

With all of the millionare pimphands on this board (if you believe all the posts), I would think a :2 cents: raise in gas prices would be nothing to you.

Especially since you are wiping your ass with hundred dollar bills.

I find it pretty interesting to see that only people from the US are bitching about the whole gas price issue... I don't think there is a single country in europe that has lower gas prices than US... wouldn't it make sense for europeans to bitch even more about the issue then? what's going on here?

V_RocKs 04-28-2006 04:33 AM

Sweet, I already go to the lowest priced gas station...

$3.06... it is like stealing candy from a baby!

It only costs me $108.00 to fill my tank... With prices so low, I think I will have my mechanic install a reserve tank so I can really take advantage!

You're confusing efficient cars with small cars. I think most of european Diesels such as volksvagen or Volvo are more safe than your average SUV.. because it's big doesn't mean it's safe :)

..and you're free to complain all you want..but, I hope the american webmasters don't get all pissy here if 'we' europeans complain about shitty USD. We all have our own worries, and others think they're unimportant, I just wanted to spend some time whining about your whining here. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

We based our public transportation systems around a BOOMING car industry that we could capitalize on... Now we are fucked...

Also Europeans pay so much because of the higher taxes on the product. Their tax structure is very different than our own... Property taxes, sales taxes, etc... So think of it as give and take...

I make a lot of money.. Click my sig...

I also pay a lot for gas but since I don't commute, I actually save... I wouldn't need to bitch until it hits $10 a gallon.... Then I could justify bitching about it... I drive a Suburban... It is a very large SUV... People who drive small cars have small penises... I have a large penis and I need a lot of leg room for it... A suburban has a lot of penis room and I can always throw it over the center consol into the back... Sometimes I remove the back seats so I can fit it in... Other times I go swimming in a cold pool so I can keep it on the floor all curled up... I like my penis and my suburban... God bless America!

True dat.

Plus the Europeans, or a lot of their countries, have better public transportation by compared to the US who do not. Not to mention (as you pointed out) the Europeans are raped in taxes a lot more for gas, and things by comparison. So they are used to it.
