Hmmm, I'm using a pirated copy of XP Pro and Office... *turns off automatic updates*

I dislike microsoft just as much as any of you, but I have enough on my mind as it is, last thing I need to happen is for my computer to get fucked next time I run windows update... When I was a kid I used to use stolen software too, but now a days when there is actually quite a bit of $$ to be lost from downtime, it's not really worth it anymore...

Maybe there's a range where they allow a bit of leeway for people who do reinstalls, or perhaps they can see from the unique code that only my HD is changing.
After the reinstall Photoshop announced my trial was over and I had to purchase a licence. It was a fucking full, paid install from a retail box! Trial? Pay? What the... |

indeed though I know it is wrong...very rarely do it these days but I would be a liar if I said never |
I bought Win95 and Win98 and that was it, never again. When I installed Windows 98 I had to reformat my hard drive and lost a shitload of data. You see Microshaft made a change to the FAT32 file system at the last minute and didn't bother telling anyone else so if you had Norton Utilities 3.0 installed you were screwed.
I purchase all my other software but never again will I purchase Windows and I have absolutely NO problem stealing it. And no I don't steal other software or content or music or movies so :321GFY |
