if you have intellectual property rights to a domain you will be able to dispute if anyone tries to register it. that might get messy if you have to go legal to prove you have the ip rights.

what is really stupid is that the proposal states that high value domain names will be auctioned. the register detwermines what is a high value domain. so i would expect to see all the top 50,000 domain names for .com and .net being auctioned. i think this will lead to either the .xxx registrar making a shitpile of money or being sued for unfair business practices..

NO.....

Where its at now is to put it back on us to see if its something we want?.....i say "fuck no"...

What needs to be done is all the major programs out there need to start caring about what this .XXX is gonna do. If the ICANN group gets enough support from program owners and webmasters respectfuly it can be KILLED.

Tom Hymes from the Free Speech group told me in Phoenix "he could have killed it right then and there at a conference they had the support from our "industry leaders" ....it would have killed .XXX.

You see the group from .XXX is selling the idea that we are all for this "silver bullet" killer of our industry. Govt controling the sex biz on the internet moving us all over to the .XXX domain is what this is all about....and a ton of money to be made on each deal.

75 bucks per domain so far, may go up.........

Email the program support you send traffic to and ask them wtf they are doing about the .XXX deal and have they sent a letter to the FSC to help battle this ?

ok so i have said my 2cents.....lol

Isn't there something in the legal system that REQUIRES the LEAST restrictive measure be taken to remedy a situation?

If that is the case, forcing ICRA labels would be easier than lining the pockets of the .xxx cohorts...
