On a related note, the actual name of Mexico is Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, the "Mexican United States".

And it is a name used solely by the citizens of the United states. IE: Americans.

Canada is a NATIVE/FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE word.
And it existed LONG before Europeans came to the land.
