    Have the USA ever been on the moon? or was it a fake ?

    Here in Europe 2 of 3 people think it was all a big fake

    i saw recently a repetition of the original television broadcast - ashaming
    i am on of the 2 of the 3 europeans

    would like to hear the opinions of this us wm board

                  Yes we landed on the damn moon. No it was not some movie set. No there is not air blowing the flag around. No those are not fake rocks. No there is no writing on the rocks. No the US government, the special effects studio, the camera people, the astronauts, the caterers, the grips, the union people, the film editors, and everyone else required to pull it off could not keep it a secret.

                                                      They have mirrors on the moon right now. We periodically bounce lasers off of them to get the current distance from the earth to the moon. We do that of course because the moon is sick of us and is slowly moving away each year.

                                                                                  I have no idea really but I voted fake just to make it close. The US had the technology to do it so I suppose the question is wheather it was easier to actually do it to show up the Russians or just recreate it here and save a few bucks. Who knows but I'm quite sure that by now someone who has access to a decent telescope would have taken a peek and posted some pics if the landing site was barren.
