I think there's a problem with the hardware on one of my servers. Anyone know of any online tools I can use to test how long it's taking to deliver a page from my site? Not one of those crappy optimization tools, but one that reports the actual transfer speed and time.

download a 50 meg test file in http ... or download thru ftp ...

should give you a good idea of the performance

Yeah, I could do that, but I want a third party or 2 so there can be no excuses that it's my hardware, my connection etc. etc. etc.... also, I live in the boonies so sometimes my connection can be not all it can be..

ask a few people ... I do not know of tools that test the serever d/l .. but of tools that test your connection ( home or office ...).
