Assuming you are in the USA I would recommend that the BEST thing you could do for your friend's birthday (since you don't want to fuck her) is get some of her other friends together and surprise her at a bar or club with a big gathering. I am not sure how good of a friend she is but for a very dear friend of mine I bought her 26 movie tickets and told her for the rest of the year all the movies where on me. Get her something that will show how much of a friend she is to you.

It doesn't have to be expensive a good frame with a picture of the two of you doing something together is always nice.
