The Phillippines handle mostly Dell's Customer service, aside from its main hub in India. Late last month, Michael Dell formally launched its office in Manila with an initial workforce of 700 to be doubled by end of the year.

I heard most of the production/assembly process occurs at Morton L. Topfer Manufacturing Center (dubbed TMC) in north Austin along with its sister factory in Nashville, it's the only major computer-assembly plant still located in the United States.

most of the dell stuff is made in south east asia, use to do techie onsite work with dell laptops....completly uncertain in US, but most of the stuff in the Southern hemisphere comes out of Malaysia and there call centres are in Penang
