with adwords as with most other advertising sources, mainstream conversions are way better than adult.. but the adult payouts are much larger. either way there's profits to be made if you know what you're doing.

I find end up costing you ore than theya re worth. But that's me. Thing is I know how my ad is going to look on Google. Ive doubled my money on it with some sponsors, the BIG downside to that is I had to make my bid prices so low in order to make a profit, i got very little traffic.

So yeah I doubled my money, but "my money" was $20/day.

Surely you can find enough keywords than to spend more than $20 a day. Also sometimes it pays to spend a bit more, but you've got to be careful.

i know of a guy that promotes only mainstream products via adwords. he spends $200-$300K per months and typically grosses around $500K - $2.4 million+ per year and he's a one-man operation. he always keeps me motivated.

i've promoted a certain niche from a large program and consistently gotten 1:100-1:150 paying no more than $0.06 but granted the traffic isn't that high...

that guy grosses $500K per month on average - he spends $200-300K. so he is netting a minimuim of $200K per month or $2.4 Mil a year. I've seen photos of his checks and know some of the sites he runs, as well as his reputation in the mainstream aff world so i believe it. i've never seen him try to make $ by telling people how well he does and pushing some sort of program.

he works only in mainstream programs that pay a minimum of $10 pps, and preferable $50. he's based in the UK, and there many of the mortgage programs will pay $90-100 per application - i would think a good PPCer could acquire those applicants for $50. you can see some of those programs on CJ.com.

remember people, google took in $2.25 BILLION dollars in the Q1 of 2006. That is $25 MILLION PER DAY. That tells you PPC must work or there are a lot of stupid people out there.
