AWEmpire - Mickey...step inside

Mickey - its been over a month we've been waiting for our prize for the AWEmpire banner contest that ended back on March 15th.

If you recall, we designed a custom animated banner for AWEmpire and ran it in our sig for the duration of the period specified.

Despite repeated promises from you (Mar. 28th and again on April 11th) that the "cheque will arrive shortly" - it hasn't.

And while I realize its not a significantly large sum involved - its the principle of the matter.

What's the story guy? Is this typical of AWE's conduct of business with affiliates?

I'm inside.

The payout information has been forwarded to the company that cuts our checks(as i informed you last week over ICQ). If we give away $500 for a 10 minute job and over $22,000 in a contest thread...i surely don't see why we would hold back on $100...

So, to answer your question:
No, this is not the typical way we treat our affiliates.
(You do know my ICQ so unless you wanted to cause drama, you could have contacted me in private).
Mickey

Mickey and AWE are solid people.
Having said that, where are you located? Remember cheques from overseas can take awhile.

Canada - and we've dealt with overseas accounts and cheque payments for many years. Generally cheques are 10-14 days max.

Certainly not over a month.

Mickey
Thanks for steppin' in.

No need to cause drama. I didn't create the scenario where a payment takes over 5 weeks to arrive. I simply react to a situation as it exists...

I seldom use ICQ, and even if I had it would be redundant since I was getting nowhere privately with repeated email promises as mentioned earlier.

Usually there are no troubles with affiliate checks, like i said, give it a couple of days. We have no interest in holding back on $100...please let me know as soon as you've received it.

ps. Here's a free plug for epassporte. Sign up and make your life easier...

I already have epassporte, thanks. Its a major headache withdrawing funds from the account for us (local banks and machines don't recognize their card).
