If I was to take a poll in some of the back country parts of Georgia, Im pretty sure I would find that legal Mexicans and other Latin Americans are hated also.

Like you, I dont have access to all the facts as far as illegal Mexicans being revenue neutral. But my experience has been that those people who are working illegally use either a bogus SSN which means that they cant recapture taxes or money put into Social Security or they are using someone else's SSN and the taxes are being taken out.

And like most people (and I mean Fox News), you point to those individuals who abuse the system by making statements about criminals.

Now considering that a large number of illegals are also here by overstaying their once legal visa's, this to makes them illegals. These illegals are white, brown, Asian, and everything in between. So why should we as a country put up with picking out the political flavor of the month and not treat everyone equal.

What free ride do they get??? 99% of them will not walk into a hospital, for fear of being deported. They DONT get SS checks, or unemployment. They work in substandard jobs, getting 2$ an hour to pick the fruits and veggies that you eat.

You're right. Americans don't want to be roofers for $8 an hour because that keeps them below the poverty level in the USA. Paying them $12 an hour will probably get Americans working and allow them to support a family but we're not willing to try that.

My old college roommate works for homeland security. Meaning he's arresting, and deporting them all day long. So let's start with a few of the misconceptions shall we..

Wrong. Most do not. However there are a number of them that use stolen SSN's and deceased people's. The IRS knows this, but since the money's coming into the coffers, they do not complain. Also there is no agency cooperation to catch these. However, they are the except to the argement "they pay" not the rule.

They do not collect unemployment, or other state/fed benefits..
Wrong. They have their children over here. Making them a citizen. They collect social security on their children. El Paso for example has thousands of P.O. boxes for a town that could not possibly use them all. Why? Because the illegals checks come to the P.O. box, and they walk across the border to collect their checks, then walk back.

Also once they have kids here. When the kid turns 18, they fill out a paper, and TADA, parents are now legal as well.
