How can I convert a video on a VHS tape to play it over the web?
If I have a homemade porn movie thats on a VHS tape, how can I change the format so I can show that movie to people over the net?
I don't know what equipment I'll need or anything. It'd be nice if the VCR plugged into the computer. In the future, should I buy a special camera to do this? ------------------ BJ9's Adult Galleries |

You will have to convert it to mpeg. There is software available, but the good stuff is expensive. If you are serious about doing Internet video, you should invest in a digital video camera and check this out for starters: www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html

Marcus.
You need to read up on capture cards and from there you'll get a better picture. VCRs do plug into computers provided the computer has the capabilties. btw, get lots and lots of RAM. |

oh...and of course you have permission from the distributor of the video to copy it and use it. If not you are pirating video.

Anyone got a Pinnacle Systems cards ?
I'll buy one of them, but I'm not sure which model. I need to record VCR movies/DVD to MPEG and MPEG to VCR tapes. |

ATI video cards are great and affordable too. I think the one in this system is a ATI Rage Pro. But we have them in every one of our systems. They come with some software that would get you started making puter vids.
Just make sure you have signed model releases! |
