Some bad tips given previously.

Some real ones here:

1) Only group if you have to. When grouped the EXP you get is split between everyone, so you level slower.
2) Instances slow you down, if you're in a rush to get to 60 and don't really care about seeing low level content, skip instances and keep doing quests / grinding outside.
3) Gathering professions make the most money as you're levelling. Gather then sell on the AH.
4) STV is the most fun you'll have.

I beg to differ. Grouping DOES split up experience BUT it's more than offset by the SPEED of your kills. Depending on your class, soloing may take a while unless you can aoe or you're a rogue. Same logic applies to Instances. As for (3), it depends where you gather.

Also, it depends whether you're on a PVP server or a regular server. Grinding solo can get really risky if you're on a PVP server and in a high conflict area like Nesingwary in STV or past Sorrow Hill in WPL :)

I agree, STV is great. I've killed the "King Kong" mob on Jaguero Island there many times :)

Play it and you'll see. The key to this game is to play it with an eye towards time management/levelling strategy and budget your time.

This game is compared to gambling I believe. It's like a slot machine... sometimes you get some awesome gear at random times. I never thought in a million years I'd get into a game like this, I was wrong. Plus, it's very complex so after a while you want to do more and more in the game.
