    All Artists Morons?

    i waited for this piece o' crap all night - does ANYTHING in this header say BRAT or TEEN or FUN or any other of the 10 other words I told him it should convey? The girl looks 35 and 7 feet tall. It looks like an ad for a wine cooler or something. scooter looks good. back to the drawing board.

    I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

              Nice colors though :p Well... coming from an artist's background, it really depends who you hire... some people are just not up for the job. It's good to be really specific with the artist as well, b/c they probably do have a different view or style than what you'd like.

                                                              Well, did you look at their portfolio before you decided to have them do the work? Most artists have a certain style, and you hire them because you like that style.

                                                              The Cartoon in the Helmet is better, although I have to say, there is a reason why you only draw cartoons with 4 fingers... You're not being "cutting-edge" by using 5.

                                                                      yes i hired these people because of their portfolio - they did this first and pretty fast and I was pretty happy with it - then it was time to develop that illustration into a logo and more - then the usual excuses began when they missed deadlines they promised - finally a week ago after almost a month of this she told me she was having serious personal problems - then she burned her hand badly - so she handed me off to another artist with a great portfolio and after 3 days she emails to tell me they have a huge job for PBS and I can't use that artist - so she shows me this guy's portfolio and it's very good too and there are styles of drawing close to what I want - so that's where I am now - probably gonna give him a C note and move on.
