Wagyu beef can legally be applied to any beef that comes from the Wagyu type of cattle. It has no indication on how it was raised, fed, or whatnot.

Very true, the best wagyu is the beef that is bought from small local japanese
farms. These farmers often only have 1 or 2 cows and when they do a good job
that's all they'll ever do. But it requires a lot of work and dedication. Also it's
not cheap considering that the cows need expensive food and loads of beer. :pimp
If cooked properly it tastes better than any other type of beef filet that you
have ever tried. Cooked bad, it taste like the worst beef you have ever tried.
It requires a special way of preperation else it will turn dry and loses it taste
completely :thumbsup
