Stock question - Lost record
A few yrs ago, I bought a stock thru my friend who's a broker. He made the trade and everything was fine, there was a record. He's since moved thru several firms and from my understanding, it was transferred as a "house account", not his own. My friend called me a few weeks ago to let me know there was finally movement in the stock and now no one has a record. I haven't been getting annual reports... What do I do?
