AWE LiveJasmine JOYourSelf - 14 Day Rev Share - Is it change yet?

Since, they closed this thread
https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/594765-awempire-enlighten-please.html

and this was their only response
https://gfy.com/9630655-post129.html

"As for the ever-returning-topic of "made a sale x years ago and still got rebills", it is just not right in my opinion that you get rebills for years after you've pulled the links after some weeks, put up other sponsors or even shut down your site." - Viktor AWE

Anyway, I hope they change their cookie settings and the 14 day rev share. They have a great livecam program but kinda takes advantage of webmasters who think rev share is for life.

Hopefully, this will inform other webmaster. AWE does not clearly state you only get paid for 14 days and not the lifetime of the customer you referred.

This is a public service.

The thread received so much heat that they had to close it.

It's cheaper to advertise on GFY, and as an advertiser ask for threads to be closed, than pay affiliates their fair share of the revenue.

Oh, and yes, they did say that affiliates don't deserve lifetime revshare.

That thread actually got closed? Ridiculous. I for one am grateful for this thread, I was looking at AWE but I would never promote a revshare cam program that tracked your customer for 14 days

Neither would most affiliates with half-a-brain and some remote experience with revshare cam programs. Why do you think that you have to ask them how long the revshare is for, before they tell you? No one would promote them if they put things clear in their TOS that you only get revshare for 14 days.

Of course, I hear that they're in the process of changing things, so expect a lifetime revshare soon, but with much shittier sales.

I don't realy understand why but the thread got closed even though they did respond.

I just feel bad for the people who think they keep their customers for life.

Just let it go already. If you spent this much time promoting your own programs and less time slamming others, you'd probably be much better off.

"public service"?
Lame.

When they list their terms CLEARLY there will be no reason for threads like this. It is a public service, there is someone right up there that hadn't seen it. I for one appreciate the way sponsors get called out here so I can see what people are really about and how they respond before I decide if I want to promote. The response from AWE was and this thread is a to them.

AWE Has answered the other post. As you have stated above. The locking of a thread doesn't mean you should start another one. The information is out there and the thread was not deleted. Consider this your TWO strike warning. If you want to show people the other thread it is still there. But do not start another one!
