Fuck Firefox and fuck Mozilla

I don't even care to edit my designs so they work with these POS browsers anymore. I don't give a shit how many people like that memory hogging broke ass browser they call Firefox, it is garbage. When you fuck up the simplest of things like text display you do not deserve to be in the market. I can't wait until they make 500000 spywares for that turd so everyone will flip back to IE.

I hate firefox myself, I gave up on designing for it....maybe when firefox is used by more than 15% () of my users I will think about checking my designs in firefox, but for now they don't get my time

besides, I think most firefox users are used to seeing a percentage of their pages fucked up

What browser? If you use Firefux you are a moron. Go type in Comic Sans MS and look at the fucking M's. Looks like a retarded 2 year old wrote it. Not to mention the memory hogging slow ass pos for a browser that needs special attention just to display shit right.

Lemme guess, you were one of the idiots that clicked around the internet like a crack addicted monkey then cried when you got spyware so changed browsers? Fuck you and the other .9999999% of the population that is too stupid to surf with IE.

Something Jace... you may have noticed that laying up stuff in Firefox also (least as far as *anything* I've done so far), also covers Netscape and Opera. The deviancy always seems to come from various versions of IE. The rest at least seem to have a standard, but always have to tweek for various version of IE.

What's even better is the WEBMASTERS flying google javascript adsense banners while promoting firefox that lets even the biggest idiots on the net disable ads in 1 click. Bunch of moronic cock gobblers.

I love firefox. It displays CSS exactly as it's written. It's IE that requires the tweaks and workarounds and pain-in-the-ass headaches.

When you only have a fraction of the market and you want to entice new users your browser should work for the other 90% of the internet that is formatted for IE. What kind of backwards shit is putting out something that fucks up sites all over?

As most programmers will tell you...

The reason that things sometimes are whack in mozilla, and FF versus I.E. is because I.E. is a much more forgiving browser when it comes to code. It allows for some imperfections.

I think ff is used by webmaster more rather than surfers, so I design for IE.

You have to tweek FF to make it work correctly, just like you have to tweek IE to make it more secure.

i would bet most firefox users dont use i.e. much anymore , they switched to firefox because they didnt know how to update their browser at one point. Now they dont realise what a proper website looks like because they use firefox..

The overall shitty display of text, colors, strong tags, alignment, and on and on piss me right off with Firefox. The point is they are so far behind the userbase that they should adapt their crap to work with anything IE works with. I shouldn't need 4 browsers to see if my site will work for every person on the planet.

Agree chadglni .. Tho for webmaster use.. Fox offers much more and, least so far, is not a virus/adware collector.

Generation of html, depending on what's in it, appears to work fine most of the time on all browsers. Least from the stuff I've done, the problem always hits back to MS having a standard - they always seem to want to be "different" and come out with crappy deviations - even between IE versions.

Bottom line, - just think it's easier to code for a standard over almost all other browsers and just tweak the MS bullshit. It usually only takes a couple of minutes anyways.

The other downside to IE is the virus/adware problem - it's a sitting duck for that.

Have you seen an M in Comic Sans MS? I trust no program that can't make an M look like an M. "But we're secure"

"But you can't display a fucking M!"

Wake Up Call to those who don't design to W3C standards that FF implements properly. CSS serperate from content.

IE 6 doesn't display properly. If you design with these flaws in mind you are gonna be screwed when people start using IE7, read the beta notes for it. They are fixing these problems, as well as copying all the things people like about FF.

It'll still not be as good as FF....look at all the extensions you can get (oo err!! ) with FF.

Later..

yeah, it is all based on the mozilla standard...or whatever it is called these days

I just generally try and stay with basic html, when I get into css and shit like that is when shit starts fucking up

They aren't changing what I'm talking about. Sure they played with some CSS (fucked up half the free wordpress templates on the net when they did too) but I am on IE7 and it's the same as always. Firefox on the other hand is a turd and should be banned from the net.

Yea.. got it running, but only for browser code checks and avoid using it so far.

No doubts it is better - it took em long enough to get there with loads of patches.

BTW.. The current version still does not fall into line with a common standard - it still has the "Microsoft version".

Spyware/adware through IE, not in many many years. Learn to secure your browser and your PC... Just because you use FF doesn't mean you can't get spyware, adware, or a virus, most don't come through the browser but through idot software you install.

not strictly true.

a lot of spyware comes through drive by installs using IE browser holes and often activex

drive by installs are a shit load more difficult in firefox

search any security site if you don't believe me. hey, search here for starters:

Sponsor break over??

There never was a browser standard called Microzilla - that's where MS went wrong.
