Having used both MPA and NATS, without question I voted NATS. It has a HUGE feature list, support has always been exceptional, and they are constantly improving the product.

My vote went to MPA3 and the Mansion guys. They are fabulous!! No matter what stupid question I ask or what small issues I want help with they always respond to me in an excellent professional and friendly manner. In addition I did my research before I decided to purchase MPA3 and MAS. And for me the choice was quite easy after evaluating NATS and MPA3 against each other with weight on the following criteria?s. Prize, functionality, innhouse design & support.

All the software aforementioned are great. But why do you think so many use nats? I was the first person to ever use nats and i was sold on its features and the people behind it. I took a great risk being the guinnea pig of this software, but it appears I have made the right choice and so have hundreds of others

Monolith is a now defunct project written by a guy that used to be in the adult industry. it came with source and there are a few people with it around.

NATS and MPA are both very good viable options, id suggest you write down the features you want and take a look at both. Iv used NATS very extensively and like it a lot. Would I go with it on a project of my own? I dont know as i havent taken an extensive look at any of the other products available recently.

Great responses so far, keep 'em coming!

We love MPA and the Mansion crew!
It's not the software that makes the winning program it's the people behind the software. It's the service that makes a major difference.

Everyone who knows me knows i have nothing but good things to say about MPA and MAS ... they have changed everything for the better for us here! They have increased my bottomline and have decreased the amount of time it takes to get things done. Their support is second to none! I highly suggest getting someone from the mansion team to show you a demo.

xoxo,
Megan

but they came up 2 days later and showed me where I was wrong and the result was much more than perfect.

support is excellent and even when they are not the very cheap ones in the market, they donīt charge you for every little thing. they give you a 100% result of what you have ordert on the exact price you agreed and not one cent more.

before I worked with mansionproductions, I payed less, but never got what it had to be. now I am saving money by paying a little more, because they are ALWAYS online and helping within minutes.

To be honest - I donīt know also the other programms in the vote - just can tell you my experience with them and that was the fucking best I had in 9 years web-biz. there are not many companies around with the vison just to have the most satisfied cutomers - mansionproductions is definately a recommendable exeption of the mass.

just my 2 cents

I too have had a great experience with the Mansion Productions Team! They are VERY professional in there service, design and demeanor. Their product has never failed or been buggy. They hit every timeline they promised, which speaks volumes. When every I need support, they have always been quick with response time. I cannot say enough about their work ethics. I think you will be happy with the experience!

sonofsam 04-10-2006 06:23 PM

as a small program owner, nats was perfect for me.. affordable and jam packed FULL of features...

also john and the team were able to see exactly what i wanted and charge me accordingly + give me a bunch of incentives to try them out... i'm really glad i did try it out cause i've fallen in love with it :)

i suggest anyone who is trying to decide if they wanna go with them or not, to give them a shot.. hell.. they have a nice demo setup for you to look around in also i believe :thumbsup

loyal nats user for liiiiiffffee :)

pornguy 04-10-2006 07:03 PM

I dont know about either one, but She can claen my pole anytime.

GigoloJustin 04-10-2006 07:05 PM

I'd say go nats. I've never used MPA. But NATS is fucking awesome. There are so many features NATS brought to TrafficGigolos.com that we didn't even know we needed until we had NATS.

nojob 04-10-2006 07:30 PM

Nats all the way. I have many clients that use Nats for their affiliate system and they are in love with it and how robust it is. Great Job with the new version , John , Charlie and Fabian.

Or.. just not published...

Remember, hackers don't like sharing things... Exploit lists are made by admins, not hackers.

It isn't luck, it is Superior German Engineering.

Oystein is a great guy and runs a great company
but i am partial to nats. I have had the privelage if spending alot of time with these and guys and trust me, they run a tight ship and have the best software out there. I have been with too much media since before everyone started using them, and trust me when i say, i never once regreted my descision in going with nats.
Cheers

MPA3 .... Daddy Like

DirtyDanza 04-10-2006 09:01 PM

we like NATS... I have demo'd the others and played with live programs that my friends own using the other2... NATS has more features that affiliate programs really need... I say go for nats if you want me to walk you through I will do so ect ect....

quantum-x 04-10-2006 09:21 PM

NATS, for all the reasons above, and some other ones:
- you have a suite of tools at your disposal (CARMA - CMS, SPARTA - site protection) that fit in hand in glove, and bring site management from all over the place to ONE central location

- Customisation

- Support. TMM KNOW how to support their product.

I'm aware that MPA3 have their own versions of some of the above, and they have happy customers - but this is just my opinion :)

BluMedia 04-10-2006 09:24 PM

We moved to NATS over a year ago and have never looked back. It has been 100% stable. We love all the features and control and the free updates that happen a couple times a year keeps the software program way ahead of the competition.

sonofsam 04-10-2006 09:57 PM

ummm.. funny how a huge majority of people who replied to the post wrote about how they voted for NATS... but mpa3 has almost an even amount of votes

fuzebox 04-10-2006 11:12 PM

I've done an extensive amount of work with NATS, from installing basic systems to doing a ton of customization, and I have to say it is a solid product from a programmers point of view.

shermo 04-10-2006 11:16 PM

I love working on the admin end of a NATS based program, and I love promoting sponsors using NATS. NATS wins my undying vote. :)

TMM_John 04-10-2006 11:18 PM

Thanks to everyone who posted their feedback on both (err, all 3?) softwares.

The only true way to evaluate and compare them is to demo both products and/or talk to people who have actually used both products, not just one.

The "affiliate software" market has come quite a long ways in the past two years and we're thrilled to have played our part in it. There's a lot more great things to come from us and others. Some of which I'm sure we haven't even heard of yet.

Thanks again for everyone keeping this one relatively "clean" by GFY standards and sharing their thoughts.

Troels 04-11-2006 03:01 AM

I got the impression that many smaller programs use Nats.
Start off with ccbill - move to nats - move to something else.
Or maybe it's just because of the price as someone mentioned.

I have to say I think the votes are skewed a bit. No way they should be as close as they are.

Validus 04-11-2006 06:13 AM

Hi guys, I use MAS from Mansion Productions; their content management system. There simply isn?t anything that can beat MAS in regards to content management software.

Although I haven?t used MPA3 myself, it sure looks pretty nice. I?d choose MAS simply because Mansion has such a great team.

klixxxgirl 04-11-2006 09:13 AM

gotta put in my vote! Love Oystein and MPA... Everyone I talk to have nothing but good things to say about them. AVN Online just did a story on them in their April issue (yes, i read other magazines too )

Blazing 04-11-2006 10:13 AM

We are with MPA3 all the way... We continue to improve our system with new features all the time.. thats the beauty of MPA3.. its very easy to customize!!
