I use them for almost 2 years now and I like it so far,....
but why do some companies leave them? (eg ARS)... anyone knows some gossip?

don't know any gossip but i'm sure it would be in the best interest of companies that have huge bandwidth bills, like ARS, to be cost conscience when it comes to hosting, maybe they found a better deal somewhere else. On the other hand a smaller operation may not care whether they pay +/- $50/month here or there...

Thanx for the replies, I just wondered - yes, I will stay there for the near future for sure and get a few more servers at that place. Second is actually the reason, I asked.

ARS does not operate membership sites anymore, they are basically a marketing company. All of their membership sites were sold to Global Intermedia out of Canada. Global Intermedia hosts all of their sites here at Candid. So in essence, they never left.
