Spam filtering/blocking on the desktop - what software do you use?

I use IHateSpam. It works OK with Outlook, but it sucks with Outlook Express.

Anyone have recommendations for decent spam filtering/blocking software that works well with Outlook and Outlook Express?

I divert all my domains email to my gmail account and i let gmails server clean my spam out, which does a killer job for free and then i pop3 them down to my outlook where i use cloudmark to final filter.

It's a fast process and i don't lose any mail

Dump Outlook Express and use Mozilla Thunderbird.

It has Bayesian spam filtering built in. You teach it which messages are Spam and which are not, then in future it uses that data to determine whether each new message is Spam and puts in the Spam folder. The more you teach it, the more accurate it becomes. After 1 month usage, it now detects 99% of spam e-mails, with 2-3 wrongly detected as spam which were newsletters.

One of my colleagues recommended this. I installed it and it's working great with Outlook anbd Outlook Express.

Pretty amazing software so far. I love how it indexes the mail and gives you lightning fast and accurate searching.

I use InBoxer. It integrates into Outlook, uses Beysian filtering and nails the fuck out of spam. I highly recommend it.
