I lived around tornados all my life until recently... They're scary as hell but the storms were always a real rush for me.

Once I heard one was forming in downtown Lubbock, Texas when I was there... I was at a stoplight downtown, I looked around and couldn't see it so I got out of the car and looked straight up; the funnel was forming right above my car!

I got out of there fast but that one never touched down.

yeah, I'm trying to watch TV and they wont turn this shit off. Personally, I think it's great to tell people there is a tornado threat...but I don't need 40 minutes of detailed coverage that some douche "might" have seen a funnel cloud.

I guess it could be worse...could be LA where they break in with car chases all the time.
