OK, so for those of you who don't know me, I have been doing some mainstream stuff for a couple years since leaving the adult arena; only doing adult here and there to help some old peeps from time to time. Well recently I was approached for a possible partnership on some stuff.

Anyhow since I have been out of the game for some time, I hear it's much harder for companies to get merchant accounts for adult pay sites but I'm not exactly sure why. Can anyone give me some insight? In the past I have written software that scrubs and processes transactions to and from the gateway. The last thing I would want to do is use a 3rd party solution.

If you have some processing history and about $10k (maybe less) you can surely get a merch account. No problem. Talk to Mitch @ Netbilling or Kimmy Kim. Both of them can point you in the right direction.
