Westin Diplomat (internext Summer) Clients to receive CAsh

I received a lawyers letter yesterday about a a collective action agains Starwood hotels, The chain hotels were charging some illegal "Resort fees" without adivising customers ... Somethinmg like 4 to 15$ per night depending on the Hotel...

Westin Diplomat in Hollywood is one of these hotels

All starwood Hotels clients since 2003 (I think) can receive some money back.... The letter is about 2 feet long in small caps, so i havent read it all yet...

Just wonderind if any GFYers got it too

I got one too. Ridiculous. Who the fuck sues a hotel for service fees, sure they might suck..but if there's a fucking $18 extra charge on my bill, I'm not gonna fucking sue them. Sad. Very very very sad.

I stayed at starwood hotels, both diplomat and westin in st.lauderdale for a total of 21 nights...and I just tossed the letter. Fuck that. The us is way too sue-happy... although I *should* have sued starwood for having a maid steal $1k cash from my room while I was gone...and yes, I know there's a safe, but I didn't use it. I nowdays do.

Anyway who will take half to a full hour to recover past years invoice, copy them, mail them, plus all the other processes to get maybe a few hundreds back ?

I think the ones who will make the more money is the law firm
