Looking for payment processor

I'm starting a new design business (my signature) and I would like to have an option for clients to pay by credit cards online. Friend advised me to find "third party processing" company. He told me it's easier to start with, though the fees per sale are higher than "merchant account setup and gateway".

So I looked around and I'm thinking of myvirtualcard.com
Anyone heard of them / use them?

Any other tips?

You could probably still use paypal since you're not actually selling adult related products/services, just web design. that would be my preffered option if they're cool with that. if not, i was looking at this the other night and if i needed processing i would check it out: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/592329-processing-sites.html

Good luck. We've been with three that have gone under, not the most enjoyable experience. Presently CCBill is the best choice for adult. We do also have Epoch as a backup. Considering Jettis. Speaking of which, anyone use them?

Hello, thanks for response.

SmutGiant, thanks for advice but I know Paypal is VERY picky about anything adult. Even seling adult design services.

Joey, friend told me CCBILL is quite reliable, so I'm thinking of it. I don't see any see any fees on site, what are the fees per sale?

You're honestly best off just being paid by cheque or epass.

They take a percentage of sales. Something like 10-20% depending on voume I think, but corvette or one of the ccbill guys on gfy could answer this better.

You should also keep in mind there is a considerable setup fee for third party processing with any of the high risk accounts (those for non-tangible sales). All of the ipsp's in the US have these at a variety of rates. When we signed up with both Epoch and CCbill it was a one time fee of $750for each of them. Not sure if that has gone down or not?

Best of luck man!

zero - what are the prices and the expected revenue? there are alot of options out there, but since you are going to be doing more b2b sales, I would suggest one on one sales with paypal or epassporte. With CCbill, 365billing and epoch there are maximum prices per sale. Some of them will lift it for you, but then you are giving up a large percentage per sale.

Jettis is great if you have your own internet merchant account or want to take checks. (dont recommend checks for goods, tangibles)

If you want, hit me up on ICQ and I might be able to help
