Patent.bat?
Just got an email that has an attachmnet called Patent.bat.
Anyone else get this? The subject of the email was 'A very new website' with the body: Hello,This is a new website I hope you would enjoy it. Patent.bat Of coarse I didnt execute it but I was still wondering if other people got it or if it was a direct attack on the site that the mail ady is for.

The .bat extention is a batch file. You could open it in a text editor to see what it does.

god, how lame is that, that a wannabe virus writer can't even compile an executable.... limited to using a fucking batch file.
it's kinda sad really.... we should take up a collection to send him to virus school so he can learn to do it right. |
