Brazil and USA have always been my favorites ever since I was little. I remember watching the 94 world cup which was my first, and the best out of the 3 i've seen, with Romario and Bebeto vs. Baggio, etc.....I would like nothing more than the USA winning but Brazil is just in another league compared to everybody else. Add the fact that they have Ronaldhino who is the greatest player on earth and Ronaldo, although he lost his passion, still is amazing. They're going to put on a clinic.

HAHA.. yeah ok. USA have been rocking the world of soccer for ages, I don't think anyone can stop them this year.. infact I'm quite sure this year they'll win.

In all seriousness USA are going to struggle to get through the group stages with Italy and The Czech Republic in their group.

Brazil always have a chance but sometime seem to struggle against weeker teams who play hard defensive games. England have the players, an easy group and want to win... but of course we won't. I think italy have a damn good chance this year, and Germany do have some good player and have the advantage of being at home.

My head would say Brazil, but I hope it's England.

So they all have weak spots. I think I will go to a bookie and put some money down on the non favourites...Maybe an African country for example...

lol, I put $10 down on Togo at 500/1 just for the hell of it. I agree with you, there are a lot of talented players, however it's going to be difficult to beat Brasil. England and Holland are too damn inconsistant to win it. Haven't seen Argentina play much, but Messi impresses the shit out of me. He's going to be one of the best players of all time ;)

Problem is that he only 18 years old now. He has not played many matches at the highest level yet. Other teams know this and they will try to provoke him like crazy. Or just injure him badly...

hmmm its a tough one, i will probably be backing a few teams to qualify/not qualify from their groups. Cant see england winning it, they dont play as a team. Brazil as alwyas dont have a defense, but upfront they are the best in the world, not by as much since the demise of ronaldo though. Spain and holland both have decent squads, but are never as good as the sum of their parts. Germany always do better than expected and have home advantage so seemingly have a chance. Its tougher than ever this time around.

argentina depend on messi? im pretty sure hes got less than 5 caps... they have decent attacking options, imo one of the best all round midfielders in the world, riquelme. Cant see them winning it though
