Don't know if GFY is the proper forum for this, but I suppose the more places we post the better. If you or anyone you know meets these credentials they should submit their resume to webmaster at webcams.com.

You can work remotely but if you have more than one 'family emergency' or 'you won't believe this' story we'll probably have to let you go

Responsibilities:

Developing, updating, and maintaining primarily web-based software applications for websites with high traffic volume (legacy and new code)
Recommending and implementing improvements to current systems and applications

Requirements:

Extensive UNIX-based operating system experience
Expert knowledge of: PHP, MySQL, C++, Perl, Java, HTML, XML
Excellent knowledge of common software design & engineering techniques and best practices for long term performance, usability, security, and functionality
Excellent debugging skills
Experience developing user interfaces
Excellent written English skills, including familiarity and experience with technical writing such as maintaining application documentation
Highly intelligent with excellent academic and/or employment track record
Creative thinking, logic, and problem solving ability
Full time dedication

Preferred experience:

5+ years of software development experience
BS in CS, IS, Math or similar preferred but not required with adequate work experience

Resume should be in English and must include details or a portfolio of projects you have completed
