Buck Owens, a principal architect of country music's famed Bakersfield Sound, died Saturday (March 25) at his home in Bakersfield, Calif., at age 76.

Yep.. that's where he kind of re-invented himself.. He had some good stuff out before that til his lead player, Don Rich was killed in a motorcycle accident..

Don had a different style, and his harmony helped to create a unique sound that made the group stand out..

I used to watch Hee Haw with my parents back in the day. I must be getting old.... I keep seeing all these people I remember from my childhood passing away lately
