    What is the WORST adult site you have joined?

    OK, everybody list the worst porn sites you have ever joined.

    For me, it would be any of the ARS sites, especially:

    Raw Sex Videos

    Adult Movie Station

    Amateur Freedom


    I've seen 80% of the content in their members area before, there isn't much content in the members area anyways, and all the sites seem to share content from the other sites.

    Thank god I joined up for the $2.99 3-day trial of all 80 sites of theirs. Those sites ain't worth shit!

                                          Because I'm getting ideas for starting my own paysite. I wanted to see what other paysites are like in the members area and see how I could make a better one that would retain more members.

                                          Also, it only costs $2.99 and you can get a 3-day trial to all 80 of ARS websites, so I figured I check it out.

                                          If you want to learn how to NOT make a good paysite members area, check out ARS sites.....very dissapointing.

Some of the value ARS retains does come from member length, however, you seem to think that Global such does a horrible job with the sites. Please tell me how would you do it differently? What is so disappointing (specifically) about those sites? If you create a members area how much will you expect it to retain? How will that compare to industry average? If you can retain for 3 months want to open up some paysites and put them in ARS? I've got 1000's of sign ups / day to send! Just curious...

                                                          Have you visited any of the sites recently? I mean, go to EU Amateurs and you'll find Asian girl pictures in there. Asian girls in a site thats supposed to be about European amateurs?

                                                          Here are some more things I didn't like:

                                                          1. I've seen most of this content a few times before on TGP galleries.

                                                          2. There really isn't very much content in the members areas. Most of the sites have maybe 30 picture galleries....and most of the sites have overlapping content (ie: the same content set thats in Horny Homemaker can be found in 3-4 other ARS sites)

                                                          3. The quality of the pictures is not very high. They are not high-res pics, the average TGP gallery has higher quality pictures.

                                                          4. Except for Hardcore Amateur Movies, all the movies in the sites are crappy low-quality video that you can't even download to your computer. I can get way better video from Kazaa in 10 minutes for free. So its a little dissapointing to pay to join a site to see crappy porn videos that are probably 10 years old.

                                                          I give my experience with the ARS/Global Intermedia sites 2 out of 5 stars. However, I respect ARS and the amazing company that you have built Marc, but honestly, the Global Intermedia sites are just really dissapointing.

                                                                  From my point of view the reason why conversions are sometimes pretty bad are the pay sites webmasters promote!

                                                                  So many pay sites just suck. I don't want to name examples but most of the big adult companies just build tours for domain names - behind in the members area is the same old content everyone has seen a dozen times...

                                                                      I agree. The big paysite programs seem to just work on high volumes of sign-ups. You get inside the members area of these sites and its just a bunch of overused content that you can probably get for free at worldsex or the hun.

                                                                      It doesn't really matter to me because I only promote programs that pay per-signup so I don't care what the surfer thinks after he signs up, but I'm amazed at how these big companies don't seem to want to build sites that will retain their members better.

Most of the big sponsors' sites are ugly, have unrealted content (shamale pics in mature sites bla bla bla), very low quality. %60 of the tgps has better content than %90 of those paysites.

                                                                                                          Exclusive content really rocks, I have seen many smaller sites with exclusive content and If I was a surfer i would stick to them, because they were really good.
                                                                                                          As a matter of fact those big companies put more time to marketing than content.
