I have another homeless kitty outside that a neighbor left behind.

I call him Tiger Kitty and I have been e-mailing, calling and just about going crazy to get this baby a home. I am so happy that I now have about 13 people all interested in him. And I got a few people who offered to come out and help me beat the ass of the people who left him behind. haha

I just sent out e-mails with this picture and message to all the people who responded. I am now awaiting who will be the new family for this baby.

This is Tiger Kitty and no he does not spray at all. He is not a territorial guy. He is a wimp and runs and hides and let?s other kitties push him around. He is not a fighter at all he is a lover. If I didn?t chase the other kitties away he would never be able to eat. I have to fight for him. I don?t even think he knows what spraying is. haha I still have him but he has not been around for the last 3 days. It has been raining off and on and he disappears when that happens but he has been eating the food I put out, at least I hope it is him eating it. I really would like to find him a home with someone who will take the time and care to work with him a bit because he has been outside for a while and will need someone who will take their time to let him adjust. You know how cats can be. hehe But judging from how he is around me on those special occasions that I get to pet him he is a lover and is so sweet. He is very vocal and likes to talk back. So I would love to find someone who will talk to him. He likes it, at least I think he does or he wouldn?t respond. I really love him and wish I could keep him but my boys will just not have it and this little guy is no match for them and would not fight them. He does have a little friend kitty that eats with him sometimes. I think that kitty belongs to someone, but he seems pretty cool with that kitty so I think he would be cool with another kitty, would be best if he had a kingdom to himself but a good home is a good home. It?s better than being outside, on his own, in the rain, in the cold and all alone.

Anyway let me know what you think. Hopefully I will have a wonderful home for him soon so the next time I see him I can grab him and hold him until his new family comes to take him home.

Thank you. He has a long face and I like cats that have long faces like that. He is a little guy though. I bet he weighs about 5 or 6 pounds. He is probably about a year and a half years old. Every home I have found for all the animals that have came to me have all been in contact with me and thanked me and told me how happy they are with their babies. So I look forward to getting that e-mail one day for Tiger Kitty.

Loryn has an absolute heart of gold. I wish there were a billion more kind people just like her on this planet that would take time and go out of their way to care for homeless cats and dogs.

I support a lot of animal welfare organizations and it breaks my heart dealing with the fact that right now millions of cats and dogs are stuck alone in metal cages without a home and no one loving them.

come and see romania! the streets are full with homeless dogs and cats...

i take care of some dogs near my home, i pet them, i play with them...but i can't take care of all and my heart is breaking...

I know it's sad. Humans have domesticated them to depend on them so it breaks my heart in that type of situation. I would almost rather have them get a little shot and go sleepy than live horrible and scared for their whole life.

Very sweet thing of you to do Loryn! I love cats (especially ginger ones - I had one when i was 6 or 7 years old but someone in my area shot him). If I was in your area, I would of loved to give him a new home.

Anyway, I have a cat of my own and also a stray cat that lives in my back garden that we call Lurkio (he lurks around a lot). I feed him daily now since I noticed he lost quite a bit of weight recently and he lost a lot of hair on his head (seems to be getting better though). Its the only other cat that my cat gets 'along' with.

I have an orange barn cat like that, but he's big, round and appropriately named Pumpkin. Not fat and lazy either. We always end up with people trying to give us strays because we have a farm, they figure we should have a million cats. What they don't seem to realize is that cats are at risk on a farm with coyotes around. The more small animals you have wandering around the more likely the coyotes are to show up and try and pick them off.

I hope he gets a good home. People who abandon animals should be ass-raped with a rusty shovel.

I am not apart of either of those groups either. I love my meat. hehe I understand that animals are here for us. It's apart of life. But I am an American and we do not eat dogs or cats here we make them apart of our families, although I would like to have two cows and two horses in my backyard as pets. hehe

You are right Peaches if we were roomies we would have all sorts of animals running around. haha But I am a true believer in finding homes for animals. Animals bring such joy to people. When you are sad they know it and they always make you feel good when you pet them. I enjoy finding homes for animals that humans can have as apart of their lives. It's a positive part of life that I wish everyone could enjoy!

That was the problem I had doing volunteer work at the German Shepherd Rescue Shelter. It was so emotionally hard to take the dogs for long walks and then have to leave them all at the end of the day. They'd just stare out of their cages with that depressed look. You could see the utter sadness in their eyes saying please take me out of this place.

Eventually I couldn't handle it any more, I'd walk out with tears coming out of my eyes, dumfounded how people could just dump such beautiful and intelligent animals. So I adopted my favorite one, and then just gave financial support instead.

Not fat and lazy either. We always end up with people trying to give us strays because we have a farm, they figure we should have a million cats. What they don't seem to realize is that cats are at risk on a farm with coyotes around. The more small animals you have wandering around the more likely the coyotes are to show up and try and pick them off. I hope he gets a good home. People who abandon animals should be ass-raped with a rusty shovel. __________________
