It's not a guaranteed death sentence by any means, lots of people over there that make it back ok. I just won't take even a .002% chance of getting tortured in a 3rd world prison.

I say try and haggle. If they will pay 65 grand then they would prob stretch to 80 grand. If it doesnt scare you then go for it.

dont know much about strategic monouvering or defensive positions when dealing with military weapons...if it was to be the cook or something for a bunch of soldiers who knew what they were doing...maybe

but hell ive only ever shot a gun in a range at a paper target

My brother is an engineer over in Iraq and he is getting paid very well. He has been over there for almost a year and I worry about him but he assures me that he is very well protected. He has 3 body guards assigned to him (his crew) and he told me that as long as you stay smart and not drop your guard then everything is cool.

He plans on staying there another year.
