Doctor Who 2005
Anyone seen this on Sci-Fi? Is it any good? Is it worth getting season 1 to watch?
I used to watch Dr. Who sometimes on PBS when I was a kid...we got like 4 channels out in the country and it was the only thing on during the day besides soap operas and talk shows. |

I bought a Superman basketball for the new basketball goal I have coming next week. Not really looking forward to putting the thing together but every home in Indiana is required to have one.

Saw the start of the new series on the Sci Fi channel last week the girl is cute but the effects and acting are diabolical . Its on tonight but ill give it a miss....
I worked on the original series in the UK years and years ago with William Hartnel the original Doctor . The special effects consisted of rubber bands balsa wood and mirrors but it still looks better than this latest incarnation. I still have an Original Dalek which is getting a bit tatty now after so many years... |

I would say the new episodes on the scifi channel are a bit better than I expected.
The wife likes them a little more than I do. But, they're all right. I didn't know there was a Dr Who 2005. What is that about? |
