i'm no real big fan of education if you already have the maturity and skills a college graduate has.

This is a good thread. I have a few friends in the same spot.

Personally, I think college is a good thing. I know people who didn't go will bash it and say it's not needed. I know people will say how they are rich and didn't go. The fact is though that those with college degrees make signifigantly more. Besides that, college is a great place to learn a lot of skills besides what you pick up in the books. You learn responsibility, self accountability, and handling yourself under pressure. You learn social skills and other everyday skills that would otherwise be missed.

The other end is if you truly feel you can make a lot of money right now. You are right that the Internet is ripe. You can make a ton of cash right now. The thing is, you better be sure that you can before not going to college. Otherwise you'll end up behind everyone else if things fail.

Regardless of what people say here, there are skills you just won't learn without college. Not to mention it's a chance to nail naive young college girls on a regular basis. No amount of money can top that.

My suggestion is if you think you can make a lot of money right now, do it. But take a few courses on the side to keep your end in the game. It's tough to stop going to school and start back up years later. And if everything comes crashing down, you'll have some courses under your belt and be able to finish up sooner.

could be, but a NeuroSurgeon gets his dick sucked more often because he went to college ;)

think about it, what's a stronger chick magnet, a NeuroSurgeon or a online pornographer?

AHAHAHAAH thank you Antonio.... And bigdog you're a rare case.. Most of these tools don't have 11 million dollars in the bank. In fact none of them do.. That's a different situation.

My business was starting to really take off by my 3rd year and I had the same choice. I ended up reducing my course load to either 3 or 4 courses per semester and doing my business at the same time. It did take me an extra 2 semesters to graduate but it was well worth it.

I would listen to this man.

Also college is actually a cool time and if you have brains, you are going to make it in this business no matter when you enter it. I have people tell me I can't do what I have done to make money all the time. I prove them wrong. Perhaps they couldn't do it, but I do it all the time. It isn't when you get in, it is what you do while you are here.

So bang some bitches, party and for Gods sake, let some of us 30somethings start a Fraternity on your campus!

How about cut back on classes, but don't completely stop going. Just take a class or two a semester and you'll eventually get your degree but still have enough time to work on your online ventures.

Not having a college degree is my only true regret. It has nothing to do with money and all about societal acceptance. It elevates your status in lots of circles very quickly. Something that selling porn does not do.

I think Woj hit it on the head. There is another train coming along next week. No need to think this year is in anyway special to the world.

Depends on what you want really. I wouldnt do a philosphy major or anything but if you took business, at the very least you would learn to analyze the online business with more merit and in more detail etc.

It depends. I started my business in college and handled both pretty well. At the very least you've got a degree to fall back on (jesus i sound like my mom).

Finish your education, get the degree, then you atleast have a life long insurance policy to fall back on.

It's good to have incase you want to get out of the business later in life, or do something else to pay your bills if need be.

Do you have a good plan in this industry? Are you making enough money in a month to hold you over for 3 months?

Are you confident that you can handle the instability of this industry and make it through the low fluctuations where you make little to no money for weeks at a time?

And most important, why would you quit college altogether?? Always have a plan b, if your quitting because your tired of it then whats going to happen when your tired of this industry?

Just a few things to think about before making any big decisions

Thanks guys but let me state for the 50 time I didn't meant to give up on college but rather FOCUS more on my work (and taking more time to take the degree)

Napoleon - already got the answer to those question, except for the last one ;)
