Time to buy a new univseral remote I guess. This remote is done for.

Perhaps now the woman will learn not to buy the cheapy no name brands just to save a dollar.

I haven't had batteries explode on me for at least 15 years. It magically stopped after I quit buying them cheapy batteries. I started putting rechargeables in everything now.

I can remember as a kid, even the good batteries ended up making a mess out of toys. I lost my Mini Pac-Man arcade unit to crappy Durecell D cells.
