Anyone here have a 62" tv?

If so, how wide is it across? I forgot to measure and I need to figure out where it will fit.

Wouldn't that depend on how big the speakers are? If you know the model number you can check online. Type the model number into Google and it will show you several sites that have detailed specs about that particular TV.

Aspect ratio matters, is it a wide-screen or standard?

Yeah, but of course I don't have that with me, I was kind of looking for an approximate.

I will just go back tomorrow with a measuring tape.

I have a fireplace to contend with. My 50" fits fine, with a stereo alongside, but I know the stereo will have to be moved, just not sure if the hearth is going to present a problem.

Same one I got. I think the measurement is corner to corner though right?

I have a 120" widescreen projection screen for my projector, its 2.65 meters....... So I guess yours would be roughly 1.3 meters
