Great tip Mark. I remember when I discovered that using Image Ready. I thought fuck have I been doing things the hard way.

Oh yeah I was doing all this by hand for years. This is a major time saver!

Yup same here... now with Photoshop or Image Ready you can do in 10 minutes what use to take an hour or more.

I wonder if that's the reason design prices have dropped so much in the last few years...

The other tip I would say also to add, and this is starting to get more complex with the design is since photoshop puts everything into a table section if you take your photo section say Square 2 (in your example) you can tell it to be the background for the cell of the table and then add another jpg or gif (animated if you want) into that cell over top of the existing image to add an extra layer to the site.

True true... I am eventually going to add an HTML tips page to all this since I get alot of requests for that type of thing.

Figured I would throw some of what I have learned over the years as well.. but if poeple are just learning what you just mentioned in Lession 6 then maybe they should wait a little while before going to the next step. Its for those who got and learned Lesson 6 quickly and always want that extra step ;)

Plus I am going to break 100 posts before the year ends

so I might as well pass on something useful that I know
