    Diet Pepsi IS NOT the same as Diet Coke

    just had some dinner - asked for diet coke - she brings me what is diet pepsi
    i call her on it - she says its the same thing
    not even fucking close in taste - diet pepsi tastes like a fucking chemical stew

                                                                              yeah, it's stupid that people are willing to drink shit that might maybe give you a brain tumor or something to lose weight, but i'd prefer a small chance of that over type 2 diabetes or something worse from drinking so much goddamn sugar everyday

                                                                              diet drinks don't make you LOSE weight, they give you the option of enjoying sometimes good drinks without extra calories

Your body does not recognize it as a sugar and does not produce insulin to deal with it so it packs on pounds. if you insisit on drink soft drinks read the label, as bad a diet sweeteners might be, an unknown, high fructose corn syrup is worse.

                                                                                                                                                              The average person can lose 15 pounds over year by replacing regular soda with diet soda, not 15 pounds per year. Yes, that might not make a big difference on somebody consuming 8000 calories, 200 grams of fat with a weight of 500 pounds. However, for somebody 20 pounds over weight, it can make a big difference.

                                                                                                                                                              For instance, somebody drinking a litre of coke a day is taking in what 750 calories or so? If you replace that with diet coke you just stripped out 750 calories a day from your diet.
