It isn't too far fetched for the near future.. technology has come a long way in a short period of time. All sorts of goodies could be hooked up to a system to make wunnerful things happen. Ain't no tellin' what these things will be like in 5 years.Comment

Until the majority of users have broadband access I dont think we can go too much further than we are right now.
And once everyone is at 384K minimum connection(DSL) then maybe something will come up that will make that obsolete. Maybe full screen DVD quality streams on the net. Like 8 MBPS video streams. Thats QUALITY video! DVD style!
Holographic would be cool, but a bit further away than 5 years IMHO.Comment
