i'll say something that i've said to many webmasters in the past during discussions. I personally believe pornno.com brings more $$ than worldsex.com although it has 600k traffic less according to sextracker. I consider it as the ideal tgp structure to lead surfers to ads and probably buy unlike worldsex. I know sites that make same amount of money with sites that have 3 times more traffic.

Assuming you get one out of every 1000 people to click on your banner you would have to get 7,500,000 UNIQUES a day to get your money back in one year! YA RIGHT!!!! from the 1st and 2nd page of pornno.com where ads exist i suppose that a big amount of money earned everyday due to SE traffic.
And a friendly notice to JJJ: pornno.com is an internet property and it's hard to be valued with on the fly estimations etc etc. I advise you to seek a big company that handles such issues to do the sale for you. At the end,even if they get 10% or something I'm sure you'll be the winner. At this point of time, big non-adult companies as far as I have heard looking to enter adult industry. By handling it alone you'll probably lose such case. I hope I helped. |

I thought I read where JJJ made about 13 sales on Erasercash his first day promoting it. So that's $390 right there. Add in all the money from his other sponsors and he likely does make well over $1k per day.
I would not be surprised if his tgp were to sell for a hefty price in light of that. I'm sure he'd reveal his income to whomever is serious about buying it from him. Mainstream investors pay MILLIONS for shitty sites with NO income. Some with small traffic. Why not pay $300k, $500k or $800k or (insert your value here) for a site with good income ?

this is true if you buy a biz in the real world it could be many years before you start making your money back but lets not forget that in the internet world 1 year is like 3-4 in a regular biz. Just look how much on the internet has changed in the last year. A year ago there were sill tons of internet companies going public and making big bank. Now most of them have gone out of business. For all we know this time next year the bush admin. will have passed a law not allowing any porn without a AVS of some kind which would greatly effect the amount of traffic big tgp's get and for thier thier traffic is thier $$

You guys 'n gals are all overlooking the fact that those sales are not all profit.
There is webspace to be paid for and bandwidth that is burned to pay for. Do the math with that and it will look a lot less rosy. This tendency of TGP's selling is something I saw comming for a long time. Running a large sized TGP is not half as profictable as you think if you are not a marketing whizz. I'm not saying JJJ doesn't make good money with it But not half as much as he could. And that goes for 99% of all TGP's out there. Btw, I make alot more than 1k a day, alot more. Most people have no clue what a high traffic tgp makes, since there are only a handful of really big ones. After the years it took for me to build JJJ's to what it is now, I would not sell it for a million, that I would consider a low ball price. That amount could be made back in a short time JJJ |

Well, I am not a big guy, I've been in the game for only couple of months. But from my experience I can tell you that the banners you see on most of the big TGPs are just a microspopic fragmant of their income. Banners are there just for pocket change. TGPs make their money elsewhere.
You will never know how big TGPs make their cash until you own one. Mine is not big, it's decent. You can check it out (view my profile) and you will see that I have NO banners, simply because that's not where the revenue comes from. In conclusion, JJJ's banner spots are for laughs and pocket change for icecream. So stop counting ratios and signups , because it has nothing to do with his daily income from that site.

personally speaking, if the value of a site was based on traffic, my site wouldnt be worth much at all. if it was based on income, i could probly get 6 figures for it very easily.

Someone finally said it LOL - You could sel it for $1 or $5million - depending on how good of a closer you are  "Lensman (the man) said once that a sites SALE value is what it makes in 2 or 3 months." In the "real world" a business can usually be sold for 10 x annual PROFIT and as far as bandwidth goes - I count about 325k total for main1.html... x 610,000 visitors = 198gb/day @ say $0.60/gb = $118/day LOL that is peanuts... say $2000/day in profit (I'm sure it's higher) = $730,000/year So if you say 1 year on the net equals 3-4 real years then instead of 10x yearly revenue you would say 3x yearly revenue = $2,100,000 |
