What do you think of the AWEmpire public top webmasters list?

For some time I thought the top list was only available inside the affiliate area, I guess it's cause I have the login page bookmarked and always go straight to it, but today I checked the main page and yep it's there http://www.awempire.com/ How do you feel about it? And if you use the same name on message boards that you use as sponsor logins, how would you feel if your name was up there letting the world know exactly how much you make bi-weekly with AWE? (if you aren't there already).

I saw that also today, i think you should be optional to show your username. List city, country or something else.

We're always happy to hear feedback. So far, no one has shown any sign of opposition. The list also gives a general view of how much money you could be making with us. BUT i do understand your concerns. If this does in fact prove to be something that our webmasters are worried about, we shall consider displaying only the first few letters of webmasters name on the top 50 list.

AWE top webmasters list

I dont see any problems posting the nicknames of the users, posting their full names would be weird, but these nicks are not harmful in any way. As Mickey pointed out, noone complained about it so far, but if anyone would tell us to take it down, we would do that instantly.

some people dont like to give out their secrets , their username/ref id is enough to do great seo tracking.. infact i have used it on many occasions..

lets say i look at the list now pick out one name that interests me and then drop it int he se's and i know most of the sites they run , where there banners are etc.. how they get their traffic , who they trade with etc etc..

If i was that guy competition i would have a HUGE head start

Replacing the last or first few letters of the username with asterisks is an option. We'll consider it. Like i said, feedback is always appreciated.

That would be a great idea, or you could make it an option to completly blank out your name, this way those that like to show off can still be recognized on the list.

IMHO it's too easy to put 'nicknames to faces' and to know who runs what from that top list..
