btw.. from what I could see germany is pretty lucky to be in that group.. both poland, ecuador and costa rica seemes to be in trouble if you look at their results lately.. really poor results and I'm not to sure who will grab the spot after germany..

Pat Jennings did that years ago. It is very rare and must be pretty much luck and skill. The goalie needs to be off of his line and the ball has to bounce perfectly. People dont try to do it, it is more of a clearance that turns into a goal. The reason people dont try to do it is because 99% of the time you will just end up giving possession to the other team as the goalie will catch the ball.
