I've been with my guy for 8 years and we're getting married on our tenth anniversary. He already has a teenage daughter who lives with her mom, and we plan to both adopt and have our own children sometime after we marry.

There seems to be a lot of people in their mid twenties to mid thirties in that situation. People living at home with their parents longer, staying in school longer, while trying to have a social life. Finally out on their own in their mid to late twenties early thirties and wondering what next. We're the exact opposite of the baby boomers. When and if we decide to have kids we'll all be 60 years old. We won't even be around to see them graduate from middle school much less college.

Exactly the same for me, (except I will be 40 in a few months) and I wouldn't change it. :)

I am 25, have been with my fiance for 5 years and we're getting married this summer. No other feeling is greater to me than knowing that I am happy with a woman I love, and that we will be starting a family in the next few years. :)

I hate kids. Well, I imagine I hate other peoples kids. Little shitfactories that make noise. I'm getting married next summer though.. but I'm 99,99% sure I'm not having kids anytime soon, for multiple reasons.
a) I don't want to.
b) My GF/fiancee has this contraceptive capsule or what the fuck it's called and it's still 'working' for another 2-3 years :)

generally every one has a different opinion on that. but for me, its all in the state of mind.. we were destined to find our significant other. marriage has evolve these days, but who doesnt want to love and be loved in return? no matter how tough we are there will always be a sense of need that only a partner can satisfy.but hey, gudluck to finding a good one. kids? its another thing, but the experience of giving life is worth the pain.and no other experience can top that. they even say its the essence of a woman.. but either ways, different folks needs different strokes... ciao!
