Hey son, don't get your panties in a bunch just cuz you completely missed my bro's point and felt the need to chime in with your vast knowledge of Smurfs and their effects on the Religious Occult.

Which one are you?

I don't like using "bro" myself, I use "man". Everyone is "man" to me. "Hey man, you around?" "Hey what's up man?"

Are you really this anal about what words people use to refer to each other? :1orglaugh

quiet 03-05-2006 04:54 PM

i use man most of the time too. bro is reserved for friends (usually). though i think i've used it here once or twice in the past.

beemk 03-05-2006 04:56 PM

i dont see how this could really bother someone, unless this is some kind of subliminal jab at someone.

baddog 03-05-2006 05:02 PM

I don't believe that I have ever used the term "bro" except when I was talking to my niggas

Hardly... just making an observation. I used to study trends in language, terminology that people would pick up on and use over and over again without really realizing it... such as "like"... "I was like, discuss the weather when he just cut me off like what he had to say was so important and he was all like, whatever"

So yeah, I notice these things in society and take interest. The last funny one was "oh snap" that people seemed to use to sound cooler.
