A close friend of mine died.... :(
I met Veronica back when I was married and we became fast and intimate friends. After I introduced her to my future ex-wfie, she spent a lot of time with us, much to our delight and the jealously of others.
Then after I got divorced, Veronica was there through dozens of girlfriends and lesser encounters. Always willing and happy to offer her unique style of assistance to the relationship.
A vibrant, powerful, versitle, hard working, yet quiet personality, Veronica was a measure of relationship success for me. If the girl I was seeing embraced her, then all as well, but if she was put off or freaked out by Veronica, then it was usually a sign of impending failure.
It was tough to watch Veronica slowly deteriorate and finally pass this last year.... and while it will only cost $20 to replace her, the memories, experiences and ladies we have shared are priceless.
Veronica, I'll always be grateful for the time we spent together, rest in peace my friend, it's well deserved.
