    i am going on cruise

    I am finally taking a nice vacation in two months , this is much needed . Anybody else going to take a vacation this year ?

              I took a Western Caribbean cruise in February. I loved it. It was my first vacation in many years as well.

                      I went on one over christmas to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize and Costa Maya. It was a great time.

                              Just got back from St. Maartin and Tortola a few weeks ago. Orient bay was hot!

                                      Devoting lots of time to travel this year.

                                      I went on my 1st cruise this past oct/nov:

                                      A 24 day "repositioning cruise" as the ship was being taken off the vancouver/alaska run after the summer and being permanantly moved to NYC to do runs to Carribbean. We went down the west coast (Cannon Beach, OR, Monterey/Carmel, CA, San Fran., Acupolco, Puerto Vallarta, Puntarenas, Costa Rica,) through the Panama Canal, and into the Caribbean (Aruba, Curacao, St. Lucia...), and then up the east coast (Miami, NYC).

                                      This summer I am going on a 16 day kayak trip in the "Galapagos of the North" (Queen Charlotte Islands) just south of Alaska which is a UN World Heritage Site...where there are zillions of orcas, whales...

                                      This winter I am planning a 3 month backpacking trip to Asia (through southern China, northern Vietnam, Burma, India).
