Text! Text! Search Engines love blogs but you've got to do more than just post a picture every day. Use some great keywords and make it interesting. If you want people to come back it has to be more than just daily spam.

With all due respect, Alex. "Webmaster" is a broad term. Many people are webmasters who make a lot of money who don't know html or php etc. Perhaps on a broad basis, "Webmaster" can be defined an online business person who sources his promo materials from specialists and spends his time strategizing re generating traffic and monetizing that traffic? I'm sure there are the "classic" webmasters who know design, html, scripting, etc. But perhaps this is too constricting a definition since it does not include webmasters who make $$$ by laying out capital and strategy and letting specialists do the job? Maybe the label webmaster may have less to do with a person's ability to install a script or build a page than with his/her ability to make money off the internet.
